l2o1v1e Update #1

I created an account with www.mediafire.com so that all my shared works in this blog can be accessed under one folder. I will just add from that folder all the files that I would share in the future. To download files from there, just click on the folder and the particular file you would like to download. I will still upload individual files on zshare and publish the corresponding download link on each post while the mediafire folder link will be posted at the sidebar of this blog to serve as a one-click quick access to all the mediafire download links of the files.

Anyway right now, I'm working on some remixes and a megamix to come up with an album so stay tuned.

l2o1v1e presents NO AIR

During the last few days of January this year, I was trying to remix some songs to include in my Feb 5 mix but I only managed to remix two tracks. This is one of them. My schedule was so cramped up that I had to do this remix for just about a couple of hours from scratch without much samples. I also don't have the instrumental and acapella for this track. Anyway, hope you'll like it!

l2o1v1e presents THE LAUNDRY SONG

I was trying to create a beat similar to a remixed version of a new wave track called State of the Nation back in my high school days (which incidentally had the same beat with a house track of a group called Strike whose album, I Saw The Future, I used to have a copy before). I have looked high and low for them but I just couldn't find myself a copy of both the remix of Industry's song and Strike's album. Anyway, we used to kid around about the similarities of mixing and doing laundry and I got this sample off a clip from a very old laundry soap commercial, that's why I made this remix for those who want to... uh... er... spin. As part of the Funny Mix Series, here goes nothing.

l2o1v1e presents THE PROJECT X MEGAMIX

Here's one of the megamixes I made this year. I have openly shared a shorter version of this one to a forum that I frequently visit (shared the longer version to my circle of buddies) under a different alias as usual. Originally, this was made for a fellow forum member who requested for a mix with a particular tracklist and that is why some of the tracks used in this megamix were similar to my former work.

The tracks originally requested were:

Baby Bash - What is it
Flo-rida - Low
Daddy Yankee - El Impacto
DJ Unk - Walk It Out
Hurricane Chris - Hand Clap
Mims - This is why I'm hot
DJ Unk - 2 Step
Baby Bash - Cyclone
Fergie - Clumsy
DJ Santana - Fine night tonight

But during the making of the short megamix, I overlooked DJ Unk's other track (2 step) which made the whole mix even shorter. I released the short version a few hours before Easter. Labelled as Project X, I revised the megamix to a longer version for an upcoming DJ event as part of the souvenir CD, adding a few more tracks:

*Acapellas of Tambourine by Eve and Pass the Dutch by Missy Elliott accompanied by the instrumentals of DJ Felli Fel's Get Buck In Here and Missy Elliott's Ching-A-Ling

*Rihanna's vocals on Umbrella over the instrumental version of Eagle's Hotel California (crazy I know)

*Wanna Be Startin' Somethin' (Mama Say) acapella and Magazine 60 samples of Don Quichotte under Will.I.Am's I Got It From My Mama instrumentals

*Instrumentals of Justin Timberlake's Like I love You to Shawty Get Loose by Lil Mama ft. T-Pain & Chris Brown

Here's the longer cleaner version (changed DJ name ofcourse) of my megamix, arranged/remixed/sliced/diced/chopped/crushed/ground/pounded/stirred/churned/grilled by yours truly.
